Body Worn Camaeras
The Deal Police Department has equipped its officers with Body Worn Cameras (BWC) in compliance with the provisions set forth by the State of New Jersey and the Office of the Attorney General. This policy establishes consistent guidelines for the Deal Police Department-authorized BWC recording system. The primary objective of deploying BWCs is to provide precise documentation of interactions between law enforcement and members of the public during arrests and other crucial incidents.
To comply with the BWC policy, officers and detectives of the Deal Police Department use the Axon AB-4 model. A photograph of the device is shown above.
